Hello my name is Jacelyn Rideaux, I was born and raised in Pineville La. I moved to Lafayette, La in 2005 and now live in Duson, La. Coming from a family of only one brother I would always look forward to family events where uncles, aunts, cousins, and everyone could spend time together. I come from a long list of Educators.  I’ve had family that were Principals, Teachers, and School Administrators.

     I came to work for Christina Learning Center at the opening in October of 2016 as the Pre-k Teacher.  While working at the time, I enrolled in the University of Phoenix in the Childcare Early Learning Program and obtained my CDA credential (Child development associate) and also my Ancillary Certificate. I have also taken several courses through the Lafayette Parish Early Learning Program to make sure I am always learning how to better educate and improve in this field from day to day.  Some of those classes include MMCI (Making the Most of Classroom Interactions) and several others.

     As an early childhood educator I have made a commitment to make sure that each child that comes into my path is first met with love. Having worked hard I have then been promoted to Director of the Center. I strive to make sure everyone feels the love and joy I have, doing what God has allowed me to do by educating, taking care of their children,  and making me a part of their Christina Learning Center Family.

     Hello! My name is Mrs. Kim and I am the Toddler 1 Teacher. I am also known by my students as Ms. Boo Boo (that’s a cute story for later). I am 29 years old and I have been married to my loving husband for 10 years. From our union we were blessed with 3 beautiful children. As a mom of 3 I know and understand how difficult it is to put a little one in childcare, so I make it a priority to treat and love each of my students like they are my very own.

     I have been working in the childcare field for 6 ½ years now. I previously worked as a Kindergarten Teacher’s Assistant for 4 years. Since then I have been a part of the family here at Christina Learning Center for 3 ½ years. As a result, I have been able to obtain my CDA and Ancillary certificates which allows me to be a certified Early Learning Childcare Professional. I am very grateful and honored to be here and I look forward to helping parents get their children inspired, as well as helping them grow and learn!

     Hi my name is Brianna Henry, I am a native of Scott La. I enjoy singing, dancing and spending time with family. I have obtained an Associates Degree in Business Administration and will continue on to receive my early Childhood Ancillary Certification.

     I began working for Christina Learning Center since opening in 2016. I started working in the two year old room, transitioned to a floater and a cook position. It is such a joy working with children and seeing their smiles each and every day. With the help of God I have found my passion for children, especially enriching their young minds through play and mindful experiences. I look forward to continuing to have a positive impact on the children’s growth and to new discoveries with an amazing team of teachers.

     My name is Ke’Aria Lair I am 23 years old and I am a Pre K Teacher and Trainer here at the center. I have recently decided to further my education and will be in a course to get my Child Development Associate Degree(CDA) in Early Child Care and will also receive an ancillary certificate . I have been at Christina Learning Center since 2017 and it has been a joy year after year teaching , caring , and watching all of the children as they grow. I have taught and trained in each of our classrooms from infant, toddler 1, toddler 2, Pre K and afterschoolers.

     If asked which age group or class is my favorite my answer remains the same. I enjoy working with all ages. They are unique and special in their own way. Watching them apply what has been taught to them and seeing that they are actually learning what is being taught here is such a joy to be a part of. Working with children will be a part of my life forever. There is a need for childcare and a need for people to make a difference in children's lives. So welcome again to Christina Learning Center where I can't wait to meet you and your child in hopes of giving them an early start to learning, social and emotional skills and plenty of love .
